The mod started from the lack of variety in quake gameplay. It added cutting edge and first of it's kind features. The first feature was added varibles to everything I could. Runes came later. New map items. Some totally original, some old. The mod kept building and building until today. It's been shelved for over a year. The current version, v3.00, is a quantum leap forward in design. Using hyperdrive cutting edge new original first of it's kind extensions.
hydr_writestring2(writestring without null terminator):
This came from the severe limits of centerprints. It allows ud300 to create mind blowing menus.
hydr_skylightning:
This one enhances the mod's storm command that creates random lightning. From the dull blah straight as an arrow lightning to the mind blowing realistic skylightning. After I made it, all I could think was "wow!!"
hydr_timedatestring:
Someone had created a get for qc, but it was really crude. So, I made one that can support the international community of quake. This allows qc to access time and date strings. The engine now supports a time and date displays using the international formats.
